The first performance of the 22/23 Mensch Musik season, "Borders", will explore concepts of nation building and identity. From reinventing (or subverting) national anthems, such as Karl-Heimz Stockhausen's "Hymnen“, to how we can come out from the conflict these concepts can cause. Performed in the historic RBB concert recording hall, we encourage applications that look to explore and utilise the entire space - can this be a measurement of the world from east to west, from north to south, from sky to the centre of the earth, from satellite tracking to data identity?
