As of today (Friday 01.04.2022) the SARS-CoV-2 Basic Protection Measures Ordinance replaces the previously valid Fourth Infection Protection Measures Ordinance, which expires at the end of March 31, 2022. The state of Berlin thus adopts the requirements of the federal Infection Protection Act.

You can read the specifics on this page.

In order to continue our presence on campus without interruption, we would like to appeal to students and team members to continue to act responsibly and pay attention to valuable health protection options. This includes voluntary measures, such as observing 3G criteria (vaccinated, recovered, tested) on campus and taking advantage of vaccination opportunities and the use of masks.

In addition to in-person teaching, some supplementary online courses may be required for didactic reasons or due to a corresponding infection / pandemic situation.

In principle, we recommend that a FFP2 mask should continue to be worn during lessons on campus as well as in public areas and in corridors. Depending on conditions, tutors or other team members may ask for a mask to be worn.

You can find more detail in the hygiene protocol.

Catalyst will coordinate with anyone considered to be in a risk group to ensure that alternative options are found for their work or learning opportunities.

If you have any questions about these changes please don't hesitate to contact me.

Please note also that local quarantine obligations will continue to apply. If you are feeling ill please stay home.
