CDR is back for 2019!
When: Thursday 28th Feb, 19:00 - 23:00
Where: Gretchen, Obentrautstraße 19-21
What: Open CDR, submit your work in progress tracks to be played in a club environment. Here you can identify any tweaks or development your songs could benefit from, gauge people’s responses as well as discuss your tracks with others attending.

Aren’t sure how the bass and kick are sitting together? Want to listen to your track on something besides headphones? Or maybe you just want your friends to hear your next banger. Just upload your tracks to the dropbox below by 2pm on Thursday the 28th February, or bring them to the event on a USB stick. Be sure to include your artist name and the name of the track in the file name. It’s a free event, so bring your friends!

***Submit your track here:***

CDR (Create, Define, Release) is an organisation in cities throughout Europe. Running in London for more than 15 years and in Berlin since 2011, CDR has offered a platform for hundreds of artists including Floating Points, Maya Jane Coles and Nu Guinea.

At past Open CDR events in Berlin, dBs Students have almost appeared to take over the track list! We've also seen our team and students perform live and take part in educational content. It's a great initiative and chance to engage with the wider, Berlin music-making community.

Some past dBs/CDR profiles:
Sarah Kivi
Jenifa Mayanja
